KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

  • Design and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of indirect categories and manage spend for North America.
  • Oversee regional activities for category spends to maintain strong supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with global category managers to create and implement global category initiatives.
  • Synergistically work with internal stakeholders to optimize internal processes and workflows related to supplier onboarding.
  • Generate innovative negotiation strategies for cost and contract negotiations.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field, MBA preferred.
  • ISM certification or equivalent, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, preferably with a focus on indirect spend.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact across all levels.
  • Effective observation, evaluation, negotiation, organization and multitasking skills.
